Sinful Sunday: Bleak Midwinter

Country walks are the best.

Especially in the middle of winter.

When the sky is slate-grey.

The trees are bare or fallen.

The wind whips across the open fields.

And no-one else is around.

(Thanks to Exposing 40 for the excellent photographic work this afternoon!)

It’s really a wonder that you and Exposing 40 ever get anything done. I know I would have trouble focusing on much else. Cool shot.

Wow! The darkness of this tree and the way it lays is so beautiful. You’ve been very lucky to find that kind of treasure and the model for this shot. Beautiful image!!!
