January in New York City is a pretty inhospitable month. Cold. Dark. Grey. Wet. And very windy. Hardly sunbathing weather…or is it??
I am British, after all, so when we went for a walk on the (magnificent) High Line – a flagship urban regeneration project, which runs down the West Side from 34th Street to Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District (how appropriate) – I decided that there were definitely advantages to everyone else staying inside…

That is very brave of you…. I have always been much more cautious about taking my kit off in the USA than here as they are not quite so relaxed about. Great shot as a result though.
